RONIN

Ro is everybody’s big brother. The multi-talented American/Colombian kid from Queens has sung, acted and directed his way through the last 15 years of his life. After abandoning the faux comfort of his 9-5 job in New York’s Diamond District in 2003, he hasn’t stopped building upon his natural talent. Joining the multi-media, graphic design house Spek Studios in 2004 put Ronin in a wonderful creative space and learning ark. There, he worked on major projects with clientele ranging from MTV, Sony, Universal Music Group, Scion, Ford Motor Company and Def Jam, to name a few. He became manager of most of those projects and eventually an integral part of daily operations in the large Williamsburg studio. He didn’t stop there though. After building a friendship, in 2002, with young director Dred he agreed to help build on his most aspiring dream to date, HotMop Films. Bringing an enormous amount of maturity to a young company, as well as a wealth of experience covering everything from actor relations, to editing, to after effects and conceptualization, Ronin again had stepped in on something that was good with the foresight to make it something great.
