Ran around Dumbo, Brooklyn last week with the homie Will for williamyan.com shooting photos all over the area for the album. What you end up seeing as the finished cover wasn’t what we originally had in mind but Will took such great photos we changed the concept up last minute. That’s mothafuckin’ Dredlife of Hot Mop Films behind the 5D documenting the experience in style. The whole evening was just a pleasure as the talented guys I worked with were also cool as fuck. Can’t ask for more than that.

Since we’ve been on a role with these NiNa Sky joints, i thought why not pull one out of the HotMop Vault that unless you went to their shows you haven’t seen before. This was before my hand (dred) got fully used to holding a camera, this was us hustling, learning, and paying dues all at the same time. Hahaha. This was a joint that we shot back in the day round 06′ ,i believe. I’ll let them explain it in their own words.
t was a part of the video/graphics that projected behind us during our show and is supposed to look like a home-video we shot w/our “boyfriends”…who were really just two of our good homeboys! The song is called “The Real,” produced by Ryan Leslie off our un-released album The Musical.

So if you know me, or you have been on the inside with The Mop this is a long time coming. My good friends (practically my sisters) NiNa Sky have been on a long journey back to the public eye, DON’T CALL IT A COMEBACK. I have been on a personal mission to collaborate and help bring the right image back into the public eye with them. We have shot a series of video blogs, VLOGS for those who are in the know NA I MEAN, and there is more to come as we take you on this journey that they’re on to THE OTHERSIDE.
